The user interface has been redesigned and is even more intuitive then before. The new look provides sleek, powerful yet simple access to the many modules that create this robust framework. From the district manager to school manager and educator interface, we continue to build on our charter to be simply powerful yet powerfully simple.

New Video Library Module

We are pleased to announce our new Video Library module which supports both Flash (flv) and MP4 (h.264) video formats. The video module allows individual schools and the district website to upload and manage videos. In keeping with the continuity that iSchool District is built on, videos can be pushed from the district website to all schools or from one school (via the district admin module) to all schools.... instantly!

Establish video categories at the district and maintain a common flow across your growing district-wide library.

 Emergency New Broadcast 

iSchool District 2.0 provides an "instant push" module that allows districts to instantly push headline news banners out instantly to all schools. This technology overrides the schools independent news banners until the district emergency banners have been disabled. Banners now also support URL links so that end-users may simply click on the banner itself for more information!

 On-line School Store

iSchool District bridges the electronic divide by providing each school with an on-line store. Utilize the flexability of PayPal to route funds to different bank accounts as well as provide third-party verification for your accounting and audit needs. Now your school store is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

Lesson Plan Module

We are proud to announce the release of our new Lesson Plan Module. The new module includes features like: linking lesson plans to state standards, sharing lesson plans within the district, attaching files to lesson plans, automatically populating homework on teacher sites and printing daily/weekly lesson plans.

Allow your parents to not only look up homework assignments, but see what standards are being taught. This new tool provides the teacher, student, parents and district with a tool that grows in value daily.
